AlbaNova buildning

The Oskar Klein Centre is situated within the AlbaNova University Center - the Stockholm Center for Physics, Astronomy and Biotechnology - a research initiative run jointly by the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Stockholm University (SU).

Arlanda Airport is well connected with the Central Station (Cityterminalen). You can chose beetwen a 35-40 minutes ride by bus (Flygbussarna) or about 20 minutes ride by fast train (Arlanda Express) for double the price.

Tickets can be bought on the bus with any major credit card (cash is not accepted!).

Once you get at Cityterminalen enter the terminal hall and turn to the right, following the signs for the Tunnelbana (a blue T logo). Inside the stationyou can buy your ticket in the SL center, where you can also ask the more convenient tickets for you depending on how long you are staying (i.e there is a very conveniente 7-day card). Note that single ride tickets are very expensive in Stockholm.

From the Tunnelbana station, T-centralen, take the red line in the direction Mörby Centrum, get off at Tekniska Högskolan (three stops). Take the exit Körsbärsvägen, and the staircase to your right after the entrance.

You reach the Albanova University Centre in about 10 minute walk or riding bus 43 or 44 to the end station. You find the bus stop just 50 metre ahead from the Tunnelbana exit. The same ticket you used on the Tunnelbana will be valid on the bus (if used within 90 minutes).

Taking a taxi from Arlanda to anywhere in central Stockholm will cost approximately 450-500 SEK. Make sure to ask for the fixed Arlanda-Stockholm price! Taking a taxi anywhere within central Stockholm will cost approximately 150 SEK. Taxis accept all major credit cards.

Some taxi companies are: Stockholm Transfer (+46) (0)20-350000, Taxi Stockholm: (+46) (0)8-150000, Taxi 020: (+46) (0)20-202020, and TaxiKurir: (+46) (0)8-300000.
